It is with great pleasure that I am able to recommend Ximena Guerrero. I have known her since 10th grade as a
student in multiple classes of mine at Nova Academy Early College High School and she has always displayed
a strong work ethic and care for her fellow students.

Ximena is a talented and hardworking student as shown through her excellent G.P.A. and many college classes
completed alongside her high school studies. Ximena is organized when it comes to her studies and this is
displayed by her steady work across her time as a Nova student. Her willingness to challenge herself and
persevere is shown through her success in seven college and AP classes while remaining consistent in her
classes at Nova, and she is a bright and engaging student in the classroom.

Ximena is heavily involved in both her school and local community, giving of her time and passion in multiple
clubs and organizations. She has been a part of the school’s Mariachi program, performing at concerts and
consistently attending after school practices. Ximena has also been heavily involved in the Eco Eagles club and
College Bound program, steadfastly attending meetings and giving of her time. Outside of school, Ximena has
consistently volunteered at Frida Cinema, a local nonprofit arthouse theater in the local Santa Ana community.

Ximena is caring to those around her whether they are her friends or not. She has shown great character during
her time as a student in my presence and greets her teachers with politeness and respect when she enters the
classroom. Ximena is driven and organized, but what sets her apart is her positivity and kindness.
