THE COMPANY

Matco Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. is a joint venture between Essem Holdings Sdn. Bhd. and Matco Asia
Pte. Ltd. The Essem group reign and Matco Asia diversify their services in providing quality
products and services throughout Southeast Asia since 1981.

We have expanded our service capability by opening offices in East and West Malaysia. We
have also invested in 2 facilities to service and test all equipment and instruments supplied by
us. These facilities are located in Jakar 3 industrial Estate in Kemaman and Kemaman Supply
Base, Kemaman respectively. These facilities assist us to get involved with the onshore and
offshore end users located in the East Coast of Peninsular Malaysia.

Future plans call for developing a complete valve automation and service center in Malaysia.

Matco Malaysia is registered as a Bumiputra with Petronas under License No. L-275541-V.

All Matco Malaysia products are well known and often used by Petronas, EPMI, Shell and
other oil & gas companies as well as other industries. Matco Malaysia is fully licensed by
Petronas to supply and service the oil and gas industry. Other industry serviced by Matco
includes petrochemical, power, plant, water works, pharmaceutical, food & beverage and
paper.

MATCO SERVICES SDN BHD is a subsidiary of Matco (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd. The core mission
for MATCO SERVICES will be to assist in providing technical know-how and manpower for
servicing the products that are offered by Matco (M) Sdn Bhd., to the various clients. This would
include in providing for the engineering knowledge, field work and support needed to carry out
installations, maintenance, commissioning and sometimes monitoring. By using combined
strength of the group and comprehensive information, the group is capable of providing high
quality services and reliability to exceed our customers’ expectation.

MATCO SERVICES will be involved in all field work when it comes to providing the manpower for
specialized installation works, and all related services in the field, be it in the plants or on offshore
installations. Our well skilled technical manpower strives to provide the best services in
compliance to the international standards.

THE TEAM

Support engineers will be necessary for the fulfillment of a good complete job that will guarantee
satisfaction towards the clients. Matco has 8 service engineers, 6 service technicians, sales team
and logistic support bases in Kuala Lumpur, Kemaman and Miri to help guarantee that support
will not be too far away when it comes to the client’s needs.

Our engineers and technicians are trained to work in offshore environment and have attended
the courses made necessary by PETRONAS, Exxon Mobil Exploration and Production
Incorporated (EMEPMI), SHELL and other PSC’s within Malaysia. They have also obtained an oil
and gas safety passport (OGSP) issued by NIOSH and are eligible to work in any onshore oil and
gas terminal. In addition, our engineers and technicians are always accepting new challenges and
are willing to learn new technology and gain new knowledge.
 WAREHOUSE FACILITY

Our well built warehouse based in KSB and workshop in Jakar III, helps us in the proper dealings
and storage of our range of products. The warehouse is spread over a large area, which helps in
the bulk storage of the products. It has sufficient space to load and upload various products
easily. This warehouse also provide safeguard to our products from any kind of damage thus
enabling us to supply perfect conditioned goods before delivering them to our clients.

Our warehouse and workshop are also equipped with testing facilities such as air compressor
(pneumatic pump), Differential Pressure (DP) set, actuator workbench and valve test bench.
Proper lifting equipment are also available such as chain block, fork lift and pick-up truck.

Malaysia. Customization of system architecture according to client’s need.

Real-time sand production monitoring using the portable DSP-06 Particle Monitor
unit in offshore platforms.

Troubleshoot existing Sand Monitoring System to rectify the problems faced by

client.

Installation of ClampOn DSP PIG Detector in Labuan Gas Terminal (LGAST).
b) Bettis Actuator and Control

Servicing actuator (installation of new seal kit, greasing the actuator), stroke test
and leak testing for offshore platforms and onshore crude and gas terminals.

Assembly of valve and actuator and integrity check

c) K-Tek Level Gauge and Level Switch

Installation, hook up, commissioning of K-Tek Level Switch in various locations; ie
Labuan Gas Terminal (LGAST), MLNG, TCOT, OGT, various offshore locations

Maintenance and functionality test for Level Gauge.

Real-time flow monitoring using the portable transducer unit in offshore platform.
