Business ethics

Business Ethics are moral beliefs about what is right and wrong in
business. Some actions are not criminal, but they are morally wrong:
unethical.

Some organizations have a code of ethics or code of conduct where they

say what their managers' and employees' behavior should be, to try to
prevent them behaving unethically.

Ethical standards are a set of principles intend to generate trust, good

behavior, fairness, and kindness in an organization. This code provides a
framework that can be used as a reference for decision making
processes. These standards are an important part of an organization’s
culture. They establish the parameters of behavior that owners and top
executives expect from employees and also from suppliers.

Price fixing, a group of companies in the same market secretly agree to

fix prices at a certain level, so they do not have to compete with each
other.

Bribery is an illegal payment to persuade someone to do something.

Someone who receives bribes is corrupt and involved in corruption.

Counterfeit money is imitation currency produced without the legal

sanction of the state or government usually in a deliberate attempt to

‫‪using counterfeit money is a form of fraud or forgery.‬‬
