o Evacuate the place when the disaster strikes: - Evacuation is an integral part in


order to be safe with the adequate number of resources like food and water. 
o Comprehensive Training: - Training is important to ensure that the people are
prepared. People will be given full fledged training in order to take necessary
steps during a disaster. 

o Healthcare Facilities: - As a disaster management committee it becomes


important to ensure that all the healthcare facilities are intact and will be
available during an ongoing disaster specially the local ambulance services,
police department and fire department. 

o Stock of Assets: - It is important for the healthcare department to make sure
that they are fully stocked at the time of a disaster so that they are able to
provide adequate amount of relief to the people who may suffer. 

o Technology and equipment related: - It becomes vital for every department in


the town or the city to make sure that their
technology, software’s and equipment are kept safe and are not affected by the
disaster, otherwise it may lead to loss of important information.
