If you already have a preferred PDF annotating tool, please feel free to use it — Learning Tree is entirely vendor independent,
and our recommendations of programs/apps come from thorough testing to provide you with the best possible solution.

Using Your Course Material PDFs on a PC or Mac Computer
Recommended Free Program: Adobe Reader DC
➊C lick the links in your My Learning Tree account to download your course materials
➋S ave the files to an easily accessible location, such as your desktop
➌  pen them with Adobe Reader DC

Basic annotation tools can be accessed in the tool bar above each page.

Additional tools are available once you select the Comment feature.

Using Your Course Material PDFs on an Apple (iOS) iPad or Android Tablet
Recommended Free App: PDF Max 5 by Mobeera
PDF Max is available for Free at the App Store for Apple (iOS) iPads and Google Play for Android Tablets.

For an Apple (iOS) iPad:


 lick the links in your My Learning Tree account to download your

course materials — your files will open within the browser
➋ In the window where you see your course materials, tap your screen
once for the menu bar to appear
➌ T ap ‘Open In…’ at the top right, and select PDF Max 5 to view your
course materials
Your commenting and annotating tools can be found by tapping the
screen once, then tapping the highlighter icon at the top (below the time).

For an Android Tablet:


 lick the links in your My Learning Tree account to download

➋ In the Actions window that pops up, select PDF Max 5 to view your
course materials
Your commenting and annotating tools can be found at the right of the
screen by tapping the screen once.

NOTE: The steps above apply to devices with default settings. If the steps do not match your experience and you need
assistance, please speak to Customer Support.

Take your course materials wherever you go! You can:


• Add your downloaded course materials to any cloud-based storage service

• Save the course materials to a USB drive
