Creating and SAP IBIP export file

SAP IBIP export is not supported by standard report or the single user version of the
OMNITREND® WebReport module. The server as well as an additional passcode is
needed.

The configuration is started from the menu.

Several exports can be

handled by OMNITREND®.
Each export could represent
different data types like make
be messages of different
types.

Example:
One export could export
results of visual inspection
data – another export could
handle work order requests
or status information.

The global export information is defined in the Export Editor – like name, export file
name, IBIP id, target directory, etc.

In addition, each data field can be also defined individually in terms of length, type of
data, filters (where applicable).

Example: definition of a ‘start of line’ identifier.

In this case this is a fix text, which does make the

import of the data very easy. These identifiers can
be set to SAP standard.

Date is taken from the database in the format

JJJJMMTT.

Filters:
For measurement data and events one can apply filters for data types, events and also
the time base. In the following different filter settings are shown. These filters are global
parameters for this specific export file. If different filter settings are needed for the
export then one has to create an additional export file.

Filter for events – only the marked events are exported. This means that a user can
define a number of standardized events which are used for the export to SAP. As an
option also the comments can be exported with the events.

This figure does show the data type filter. Here, the user can define which
measurement data will be exported.

Spectrum data can not be exported, but the overall values generated from the spectrum
(trending tasks) can be exported to SAP. For the visual inspection a filter to select the
type of visual inspection is available. This is the procedure to select the specific visual
inspection tasks that should be exported.

Example in above figure – selection of visual inspection types

In addition the data of specific machine train and machine types can be filtered.

Not shown here – there is also a way to filter the data for specific routes.

Separators between different data elements can be
defined by the user – in this case a „ ; „.

Using up/down one can

change the order of the
individual elements of
the export file

Each export can

be assigned to a
specific user. A
user has to be
defined. Only the
user assigned can
see the export file
template in his
list (2).
