The story of Alice in Wonderland is a fantastical fantasy where imagination has no limits, it is colourful and
dark. The story can be read on many levels from the naivety of childlike adventures to the darker psyche of
the author. The reference to drugs and sex, intoxication and the journey taken down the rabbit hole is one
that can be re manipulated or portrayed in many different ways…..
The original story has been interpreted into movies and illustrated in many ways, fashion is often a way of
storytelling, fairytales have influenced fashion designers within their collections and aesthetics. We want
you to go away and research, discover your own angle to the story, or a character, a feeling or sensation…..
You must take yourselves off on a journey becoming "Curiouser and curiouser!”

guiding and teaching you the process of draping and designing on the stand and translating this to pattern
