AFM Project Guidelines

(2021-22)

Dear Students

Following are the guidelines for the Project to be done and submitted by you in Teams.
The teams and the relevant companies have already been shared with you.

The students of each team will download the latest annual report of the assigned company and
answer the questions mentioned in the AFM course handout, which was provided to you at the
beginning of the semester.

The Project Report shall be submitted in Excel workbook form.

Pls follow the instructions carefully, any deviation results in deduction of marks.

The Excel workbook should contain 5 sheets. Rename each sheet as follows, and maintain the order
in the same way.
Sheet 1 – Title
Sheet 2 – SOPL
Sheet 3 – BS
Sheet 4 – CFS
Sheet 5 – Other reports

Contents of Title Sheet:

Give the title: AFM Project on Annual Report
Section and Team number
Name of Company
Team details (provide a table including the following)
Name, Enrolment number, Seat Number of all members of the team

Contents of SOPL Sheet, BS Sheet, CFS Sheet and Other reports Sheet:
5 / 4 headings (in bold & maroon) [All other information in the Excel workbook should be in black]
[These heading are the points mentioned in the course handout, on which you need to provide
information]
Below each heading contents:
- Calculation of the items for both years (mentioning all sub-components in the calculation,
you will have to check the notes to the financial statements for obtaining all this
information)
- Overall comparison between both the years (mention the changes you observe and identify
the reasons for the changes)
- Interpretation for the changes (you should provide your own interpretation / understanding
why the changes are noticed)
