INFORMATION OF STUDENT ADMISSION

ACEDEMIC YEAR 2019/2020
A. GENERAL
Dea Malela MIIBS is designed to be a Centre for Educational Excellence with a modern, progressive understanding of
Islam. We have great visions of being an Islamic education center, which are to provide both excellent academic standard and
creating a faithful, noble, independent, creative, innovative, and competitive human resources.

Dea Malela Junior and Senior High School implement Indonesian National Curriculum and comprehensive-integrative
education approach, among Islamic studies, sciences, and other knowledge. The Junior High School typically takes 3 years of
education to be completed. The Senior High School typically also takes the same amount of time to be completed.
B. QUALIFICATION
a. To apply to Dea Malela Junior High School, candidates have to had finished Elementary School or
equally Grade Six.
b. To apply to Dea Malela Senior High School, candidates have to had finished Junior High School or
equally Grade Nine.
c. Have the ability to read the Holy Qur’an
d. Have basic or advanced knowledge of general education
e. The ability to comprehend elementary level of Arabic and English is to be expected (though the
school provides intensive courses on Arabic, English, as well as Indonesian for international
students).
f. Be able to stay in dormitory and to obey the rules.
C. DOCUMENTS REQUIRED (scanned)
a. Diploma –if not in English please provide a translation
b. School reports or transcript –if not in English please provide a translation
c. Recent 4x6 cm formal photographs
d. Birth Certificate –if not in English please provide a translation
e. Passport (scan identity page and cover) –The validity of the passport must exceed the intended
time of arrival by at least six months
f. Parent’s Passport or ID Card
g. Letter of Declaration to confirm that applicant will not have an employment in Indonesia
D. SELECTION PROCESS

who are qualified and eligible – Dea Malela Foundation Secretariat arranges Study Permit and Student Visa Applica
tion – Applicants collect the Student Visa at the Republic of Indonesia Consulate Office in home country – Departure –
Placement Test
E. EDUCATION EXPENSES
a. Tuition (for a whole period of school/3 years) – IDR 10.000.000
b. Board, Meals, and monthly tuition (monthly) – IDR 1.500.000
c. School Dresses – IDR 1.250.000
d. Books
F. SCHOLARSHIP
a. Scholarship is available for 4 students of every country. The approval for scholarship only communicated through
email ypkdmsatu@gmail.com.
b. Scholarship only cover Tuition Fee, Monthly Fees, and basic health insurance.
c. Scholarship is not included transportation cost, school dresses, books, and other personal expenses.
G. TRANSPORTATION
a. Get to Lombok International Airport through any flight
b. Get to Sumbawa Muhammad Kaharuddin II Sumbawa Besar (SWQ) through Lombok International Airport (LOP) (30
minutes)
