2. A Post Graduate Degree from a

Equivalent in the subject of
Prosthodontics and Crown and Bridge.
3. Four (4) years teaching Experience after
Post Graduation in the concerned
speciality from a recognized Dental
College.
4. Should be registered with State Dental
Council.
Assistant Professor 02 Post Educational & Other Qualification
(Public Health Dentistry) 01 – UR
01-OBC 1. A Qualification included in Part I or
Part II of the Schedule of Dentistry Act
1948 (Act 16 of 1948).
2. A Post Graduate Degree from a
recognized University/ Institute or
Equivalent in the subject of Public
Health Dentistry.
3. Four (4) years teaching Experience after
Post Graduation in the concerned
speciality from a recognized Dental
College.
 4. Should be registered with State Dental
Council.

Remuneration: Minimum of the Basic Pay + 20% NPA + DA applicable as on date.

Age Limit: 45 years as on last date of submission of application. Relaxation to
SC/ST/OBC will be allowed as per rules.

Fee Payable: Rs.1000/- for General/OBC candidates and Rs.500/- for SC/ST/PH
candidates. The fee should be paid in the form of Demand Draft issued in favour of
Director-Principal, MAIDS, payable at New Delhi.

Mode of Selection : The selection will be made through written screening test which
would be qualifying only, followed by interview (Only those candidates who qualify the
written screening test, will be called for interview) (QUALIFYING MARKS FOR
WRITTEN TEST FOR GENERAL CANDIATES – 50% AND OBC CANDIATES –
45%). However, the maximum number of qualified candidates in written screening test
which shall be called for interview shall not be more than 3 times the number of vacancies.
The decision of the selection committee would be final in this regard.

www.maids.ac.in. Complete application in the prescribed format along-with all relevant
documents and fee must reach on or before 31-01-2020 upto 4.00 P.M. in an envelope
super-scribed in bold letters “Application for recruitment of _________________”
(name of post with speciality to be filled) directly or by post, addressed to “The
Director-Principal, Room No.116, 1st Floor of Maulana Azad Institute of Dental
Sciences, Bahadur Shah Zafar Marg, New Delhi-110002”.

Documents to be attached:

Self attested copies of certificates in support of age, caste, qualification, experience, state
council registration and two passport size photographs, Demand Draft etc.

Note:

1. OBC certificate should be issued from Govt. of NCT of Delhi as “OBC

(Delhi)”. OBC Certificate issued from any state other than Delhi or
certificate issued from Govt. NCT of Delhi but on behalf of any other state
will not be considered. General Candidates are not eligible to apply against
Reserve category post.

2. Candidate shall be appointed as & when the vacancy actually arises.

3. No TA/DA will be paid for written test and interview.

4. In view of Gazette Notification dated 07-03-2010 of Ministry of Law &
Justice, Govt. of India, reservation points have changed.
