1 The Quantities surveying schedules
should be original and approved from both

2 Hard & soft copies of illustration drawings

a- Drawings hard copy should be
approved from the both parties
( consultant & contractor

& positions of the executed works

B- Drawings soft copy should be by
AUTOCAD format.
3 The total of the previous executed
quantities & the current executed
quantities (this month) should separately
clarified in the QS calculation sheets.
4 Revised BOQ :
If any of the executed quantities exceeded
the Contract's BOQ values, revised BOQ
should be issued and approved from all
parties before these additional quantities
shall be incorporated in the invoices and its
attached QS cal. sheets, Original copies
required for invoices reviewing, it must be
approved by Authorities
5 The following items should be considered
according to the contract's BOQ.:
1-Sections & subsections titles.
2-Pay items numbering, units, unit
rates and description.
6 The Quantities should be clarified as
follows:
1- If it is a product of multiplication
of dimensions (length, width and
height /thickness/depth).
2- If it is a product of multiplication
of area by height/thickness/depth.
7 Quantities values (linear meter/area
/volume/weight) to be maximum with
two decimal numbers.
8 Total prices ( product of the quantities
multiplied by unit rates ) to be maximum
with two decimal numbers.
9 If the pay item's unit rate is very big (For
example:10,000 SAR/Tons), we may need
to write the quantity value may be used
with four or five decimals (For
example:13.1253 Tons) so that accurate
multiplication can be easily obtained.

a-if QTY value written 13.12 tons
the product will be =
10,000SAR/tons x 13.12tons =
=131,200.00 SAR
b-if QTY value written 13.1253 tons
the product will be =
10,000SAR/tons x 13.1253tons =
=131,253.00 SAR
we can see here 53.00SAR difference.
10 Executed quantities which needs time until
its tests results could be obtained like
RC/PC Concrete works (Cube break
stress after7/28days test) or piles (pile
load test), Only max. 25% from the
quantities should be paid to the contractor
until test results issuance, original copies
required,

13 Regarding Floods water drainage works,
JM collection receipts (original copies) for

representatives signatures on the invoice,

should be associated with there full
names, job title and date of signing the
document.
15 AS-Built drawings:
Full As-Built drawings should be attached
with the Final invoice, it also should be
approved/signed from all parties, as will as
operating & maintenance manuals.
