In honor of Maestro Benigno "Mono" Nuñez,

this Colombian Andean music festival was

created in 1974; initiative of Sister Aura María

Chaves rector of the Immaculate School of

Geneva (Valley), who thanks to a great love

she felt for our music decided to organize a

festival inviting a series of musicians and

performers from the region neighboring

Geneva.
