COURSE TITLE: GRADUATE SEMINAR
PREREQUISITE: All Academic Subjects
COURSE CREDIT: 1 UNIT
NUMBER OF HOURS: 1 hour per week
TERM OFFERED: Every Semester and Midyear
COURSE DESCRIPTION:
This course deals with the summative
application of the skills and concepts learned in
the program through the conduct of a seminar
or training to any academic institution
preferably the underprivileged and the
preparation of a research proposal of a topic
relevant to the student’s field of specialization
for presentation in a defense seminar.
COURSE OUTCOMES
1. Made an analysis of the relevance of the concepts in the program to
the needs and goals of the nation, region, community and institution;
2. Elaborated the concepts through a seminar or training plan;
3. Conducted a seminar or training related to one’s specialization or to
the needs of the community;
4. Written a research proposal relevant to the program following the
important guidelines in its writing;
5. Defended the research proposal in a panel of evaluators and
6. Developed cooperation and camaraderie among students in the
program.
 
Desired Learning Outcomes(DLO) Course Content
After the chapter, the students must have: I. Goals:
