How the changing religious landscape expresses the condition of the globalizing world.

The world’s principal religion with the greatest number of people belongs to Christianity
which dominates 31.2% of majority of the population. Throughout the history of religion and
culture, there have been widespread differences in beliefs, so different religions have flourished.
It is now accepted as an academic contrast to each other regarding their respective beliefs. The
world is changing a lot and one of the reasons is the high variability of fertility rates and or
population numbers of young people belonging to major religions. It is expected that the
population of Muslims will be larger than that of Christians by 2040.
It is also expected that the percentage of the population of atheists, and people without
any particular religion will decrease even though their number is high by 2040 due to the rapid
increase in the number of major religions. It will continue to increase which will show a large
geographic difference in patterns of religious growth in the coming years. The number of people
who believe in religion is increasing, especially in countries with high fertility and mortality rates
that were then low. It is clear that the large number of young people is the reason why the
number of Muslims is growing faster than the population of the world. International migration is
one of the factors affecting the number of religions in a country. It is difficult to determine
because it is connected to national policy and global events that can change immediately.
Overpopulation is also one of the underlying causes of poverty in the Philippines. And the
lack of knowledge about family planning and early pregnancy are the reason behind it. The
rapid escalation of the number of people due to unplanned and early pregnancies that leads to a
high fertility rate. Planning is important to avoid social, health and financial problems that the
family may face. Poor families are mostly having an average of three (3) children, they are most
often trapped in a vicious cycle or poverty. Fertility rates affects the globalizing world as it
multiplies the risk of elevation in poverty rates. Population has a huge impact on the globalizing
world, according to this research explains or provides information regarding demographic trends
around the world such as birth rates and life expectancy. But there are other factors that affect
changing demographic trends such as scientific discoveries, armed conflicts, social movements,
political upheavals, natural disasters and economic conditions.
China has the largest population in the world but only 5% of them are Christian and 51%
are non-religious. Migration may not be allowed in China so the population here is not
estimated. But having a growing number of Christians around the world can help a lot. The
number of people who do not belong to any religion will be reduced. However, according to the
research, mostly of the religious person is the youth age fifteen (15) to sixty (60) years old.
Religious families are happier with their lives. Numbers of families that is religious are said to
pray every day and perform different practices. Youth are said to have the ability to express
beliefs and feelings about something. Most young Catholics already believe in their religion.
Going to church once a week and praying the rosary are just two of the practices young people
are accustomed to. In this day and age many problems are faced by the Catholic youth, their
belief in god has become their backbone.
Each religion has its own basis of beliefs and practices. Regardless of what their religion
is, everyone’s religious beliefs depend on different types of people, places and affect each year.
Religion gives people a sense of responsibility in different aspects that affects the global world.
It gives meaning and purpose to everyone’s life and encourages them to lead a fruitful life where
there could be freedom and unity. This will help the world to achieve a better community for all
of us.
