Smartphones does
have a significant effect on
culture and other facets of life.
Smartphones have influenced
nearly every aspect of human life. Business, education, health, and social life are some
of the most obvious places where Smartphones have an effect. It is unique in a way that
it supports a wide range of applications. People believe they are in a stronger place to
communicate with people who are connected to various application or social media
platforms.
Smartphone applications, most especially social media, gives us a one-of-a-kind
way to get things done at the right time. Because of its advanced features, in the twenty-
first century it is regarded as an essential part of our lives. Smartphones are used by
people to complete a variety of everyday activities. People use smartphones for
entertainment, socializing, and learning. Connecting to my smartphone through the
applications inside had helped me change in a variety of ways. It opens up my ability or
new ways to connect with people while also allowing for better ideas to emerge. It
creates a powerful bond in my personal life, allowing me to advance quickly.
During this pandemic, people were confined to their houses, no one is allowed to
go out to prevent the spread of the virus. While on quarantine, people were helpless and
they search for things to do, using smartphones provides great help in communication,
especially, with my loved ones. As well as, I decided to use my capability to discover
and learn new things. My mother and I started to put up a small online business which
can help to provide for our daily needs. I also started to learn different things such as
playing instruments like piano and ukelele, and sewing with a sewing machine.
Smartphones had helped to learn easily. I will just search for it on Google and everything
will come down. Moreover, it enables me to showcase my talent through Tik Tok. It even
helped me to keep up with the trend, and share my sentiments on certain issues in the
society.

 Essentially, smartphone was essential for me to overcome different situations in
my life, it boosted my confidence. As well as, it made everything possible, just a pocket-
sized object, but it has contributed to build my character to become stronger.
Consequently, any progress has both positive and negative consequences. However, it
is in the hands of the people to choose what is best for them. Smartphones are, without
a doubt, fantastic communication devices. It is also crucial to transform a culture that
operates on less manual contact and fully relies on smartphones. It is preferable to make
the best and appropriate use of smartphones. Remember: Think before you Click.
