POSITION OVERVIEW

The chief risk officer (CRO) is responsible for the governance of risks and opportunities. The purpose of this
position is to ensure that the organization is in complete compliance with government regulations and guidelines.
The CRO must also perform risk mitigation, internal auditing, corporate investigations, information security
matters and the development of risk analytics and reports directly to the board of directors or the chairman.

finance professionals to join our team in a risk controls manager/Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) capacity.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Facilitate and monitor divisionwide activity to ensure that the overall framework of SOX controls and testing
continues to meet group and SOX requirements.
• Be a trusted advisor and expert in the subject matter on the requirements of SOX Section 404, applying deep
technical skills to achieve specific requirements.
• Monitor and report SOX compliance and testing results for specific SOX requirements and contribute to regular
reporting on risk and control to the enterprise risk team.
• Manage a team of experts in the subject matter to achieve the maximization of individual potential, deliver
cross-skilling, and ensure that there is sufficient cover of technical skills within the central team.

SPECIFICATIONS

• Match professional accounting qualification with post-qualification experience in a complex global financial
services organization.
• Prove operational risk management and control experience in a financial services organization.
• Possess broad risk management and control knowledge in a financial services environment.
• Prove ability to contribute to complex projects and teams across different business areas.
• Own a JD, MBA or CPA degree for this position.
• Have experience as a risk analyst, business analyst, risk officer, risk management director or credit officer.

• Establish and maintain all credit risk policies supporting secured and unsecured lending products.
• Ensure that all risk decisions follow the internal policies for approval.
• Establish risk strategies to achieve key portfolio performance metrics in growth, loss and profitability.
• Optimize portfolio profitability while maintaining portfolio quality, having responsibility for delinquency, losses,
nonearning and write-offs.
• Support the development and rollout of new products across (Company)'s consumer finance product portfolio.

REQUIREMENTS

• Strong and deep risk management experience in financial services, spanning secured and unsecured lending
products is required.
• Experience in operational and credit risk management, preferably gained within the consumer finance or
banking environment, is required.
• Previous experience in building, leading and managing the local risk function of multinational cooperation is
required.
• Strong analytical, communication, presentation and interpersonal skills are required.
• Interface with various functions in an international matrix structure is required.
• Self-managed, self-motivated and used to operating in a demanding, profit-driven environment is required.
