He/she must be a bonafide College of Agriculture student. He/she must not be involved in any part of the administration and implementation of the contest. Each department must provide 3 participants. In case a participant cannot attend the said contest, replacements shall hereby be applied. Only boards/clean bond papers and chalk/pentel pen must be used during the activity, these are to be provided by the participants themselves. There is only one (1) category for the quiz bee, namely: Individual General Information. A reviewer with possible questions will be given to each participants a day before the event. Questions will be flashed in a powerpoint presentation and will only be read twice by the quizmaster/s. The subject will consist of three rounds: EASY, AVERAGE and DIFFICULT. The rounds will be having a particular time limit to answer the questions. Easy: 15 seconds Average: 30 seconds Difficult: 60 seconds Easy round will consist of 10 questions, 1 point for each correct answer. Average round will consist of 5 questions, 3 points for each correct answer. Difficult round will consist of 5 questions, 5 points for each correct answer. Protest/s or clarification regarding a particular question shall be raised before the next question is asked; otherwise, such protests will not be recognized. If protests or clarifications are raised, the contestants are advised not to erase their answers until the protests are settled. In case of a faulty question and incorrect answer to the question, the question and points will be counted, and the quiz master shall provide another question according to the round and category. Tiebreaker questions will be provided if deemed necessary. The participants are only allowed to answer until the quiz masters tell them to do so.
