The Great Wall of China

The Great Wall of China is about 2,700 km long and
stretches from Shanhaiguan, in Hebei province, on the
east coast, to Jiayuguan, in the western region of Gansu.
However, its real length, counting the double, triple and
even quadruple sections as well as the reinforcements of
the doors and other strategic points, doubles at least
those 2,700 km targeted, reaching almost 10,000 km.
This is more than 20% of the circumference of the planet
if we add the most primitive sections to all of the above.
About 20,000 fortified watchtowers have been preserved
on the same wall, as well as 10,000 beacons separated
from the main section.
With all the stone blocks and bricks used in the
construction of the wall, a wall 1 meter thick and 5
meters high could be built that would go around the
planet ten times.
Great Pyramid of Giza
(Canada)
Construction of the La Confederation bridge began in
1993, and was inaugurated in 1997. The construction of
the bridge had a total cost of 1,000 million dollars,
employing more than 5,000 people.
The bridge is about 8 miles long and is one of Canada's
greatest engineering achievements. The height of the
bridge measured above sea level is 40 meters, although
at some points this height can reach up to 60 meters,
thus allowing ships to navigate under the bridge.

It has a height of 145 m.
Base area of 52 square meters. Enough area to contain 20
Olympic swimming pools.
Until modern skyscrapers were built, the Great Pyramid
was the tallest building in the world.
The pyramid was made over 20 years and built with
2,300,000 stone blocks of approximately two tons per
block, although some blocks reached 60 tons.
To carry out the project, about 100,000 slaves were
needed, who worked in a long-suffering way, in many
cases in miserable conditions and with little food.
 Eiffel Tower (France)
The construction of the Eiffel Tower began on January 28,
1887, and lasted 2 years, 2 months and 5 days, with the
collaboration of about 300 workers, 50 of them engineers
and designers. The reason for its construction was the
Universal Exhibition of 1889 in Paris.
The initial height of this monument was 300 meters,
making it the tallest structure in the world at that time.
Later, an antenna was installed in its upper part, reaching
324 m.
The Eiffel Tower has a square base 125 meters on a side,
its feet resting on concrete foundations, built a few
meters below ground level on a layer of compact gravel.
Sky Tree (Japan)
One of the main purposes of the Tokyo Skytree is to be a
television and broadcasting tower. Tokyo's current
broadcasting tower, Tokyo Tower, had an original height
of 333 m, although it lost its analog antenna on July 14,
2012, standing at 315 m high, and is no longer tall enough
to give full digital coverage as it is surrounded by many
high-rise buildings.
The Tokyo Skytree is the tallest tower in the world,
without considering buildings, surpassing the Canton TV
Tower (600 m, 1969 ft), the tallest structure on an island,
taller than Taipei 101 and the second tallest structure in
the world after the Burj Khalifa.
Burj Khalifa (Dubai)
The Burj Khalifa has two vantage points that offer
breathtaking views. On the 124th floor, located 442
meters high, you will find what was until now the only
viewpoint of the Califa Tower, undoubtedly the best point
in Dubai to contemplate the city.
In Arabic, "burj" means tower.
On July 24, 2007 it surpassed the tallest building in the
world to date, the Taipei 101 Tower in the city with the
same name.
The cost of the skyscraper has been 1,500 million dollars.
The Burj Khalifa is visible from 95 kilometers away.
The tower has 57 elevators, weighs 500,000 tons and is
covered by 28,601 glass panels.
