The Hungry Mouse

Long time ago, A mouse was having a very thought time. She had no food for many days and
made strenuous efforts get her food. All her efforts went in vain. She looked everywhere to find
her food. As the days pass by, she became very thin.

One day, the mouse found a basket with corns. She also noticed a tiny hole in the basket, which
was sufficient enough to move her in. And then, She easily moved inside the hole.

Since she had no foods for many days, she ate a large amount of corn. Without realizing her, she
continuously ate more and more corns. She realized very later that she ate a lot more than she
actually required. After eating a whole lot of corn, she became very fat!

Satisfied with corns, the fat mouse tried to come out of the basket through the small hole.
Unfortunately, the tiny hole could not accommodate the big mouse!!!!

Then mouse started screaming ‘Oh god! Let me come out, how can I come out?’

A rat after hearing mouse’s screaming voice from the basket, asked her what happened!

Then, Mouse told the story and asked rat a solution.

Rat told, ‘if you want to come out the basket, wait for some time or even days to lose your all
your fat until you grow thin.’

Then, the mouse started crying. Huuuu…huuuuu…

In the next day, A rabbit was passing by. It heard the mouse’s cry and asked: “Why are you
crying my friend?”

The mouse explained: “I came into the basket. Now I am not able to get out through that hole.”

The rabbit said: “It is because you ate too much. Wait til your belly shrinks”. The rabbit laughed
and went away. Hahahaaaaa…

The cat was the next passerby. He smelt the mouse in the basket. He lifted its lid. And Finally,
He ate the mouse. aeeemmmm

Anything too much is good for nothing!

The ant and the grasshopper
It was a hot summer day. A grasshopper was lying in the shade, relaxing from the heat of the sun
when an ant passed by. The ant was dragging a huge seed in order to store it for the winter.

Just looking at the ant made the grasshopper feel tired.

"Ant, why do you work all day long? Why don’t you sit for a while and sing a song with me?” he
asked, and he took out his violin.

“I am gathering food for the winter when it will be cold and there will be no food. It would be a
good idea if you did the same with me," the ant answered.

“Oh Ant, why worry about the winter? There is plenty of food right now!” the grasshopper
replied.

The ant walked away with his load, leaving the grasshopper playing his violin and singing.

Fi – de – di, de- dah – doo, dah – de – dah – do

Fi – de- do, de – da- dee, de- da- day
I will sing all the while ‘neath the sunshine!
‘neath the moon, I will dance, I will play!

Soon after that, winter came and just as the ant had warned, Grasshopper had no food stored. The
Grasshopper found itself dying of hunger, while it saw the ants distributing, every day, corn and
grain from the stores they had collected in the summer. So he went to the ant.
“Hello again, Ant! I came to sing you a song in return for some food.”

“All summer long I was working hard, while you were singing and laughing at me. As a result I
have a full tummy now and you are hungry.”

Then the Grasshopper knew that WORK TODAY AND YOU CAN REAP THE BENEFITS
TOMORROW!
