DO ALL STUDENTS NEED TO LEARN A FOREIGN LANGUAGE?

Learning more than one language is one of the most mentioned about topics
around the world. From my point of view, it should be included in education taking into
account the following points. First of all, learning only one language does not mean that
there is a weakness in communication, on the contrary, just knowing one language
broadens the knowledge to learn many more, it is also important to know that 35% of
learners are not interested in languages, but 65% of learners are in love with languages
such as French, Italian, English, Spanish, Mandarin and Portuguese. Another reason is that
nowadays different countries have begun to create tourist sites where culture and
communication are the importance of tourism, therefore, knowing that different
languages are beginning to be part of everyday life and to be part of education worldwide.
Finally, it is necessary that educational institutions provide training in the languages that
have been most used today worldwide, these languages are English, French, Mandarin
and Spanish. In short, students and teachers should learn more than one language to carry
out their daily and working life.
