Exercise Programs
Participating in sports is vital for enhancing your fitness and wellness level as a
teenager. Research has proven that sports have physical, mental and social benefits. Through
participation in sports, young people like you can learn about the significance of key values
along with: self-discipline, respect, teamwork, honesty and more. Also, it restricts you from
different non-communicable diseases like hypertension, coronary heart disease, stroke,
diabetes, various types of cancer. So as early as now, you should understand the importance
of engaging in sports.
In this activity sheet, you will design your physical activity program in volleyball.
Remember, your plan must be based from your previous activity sheets. You will need your
physical activity program for your next activity. Let’s get started!
Directions: Reflect on your daily activities and write them down on the table below. Give
special attention to activities that will require physical movement. Also,
determine the HRF component being developed by the activity.
Directions: In the first column of the table determine your possible free time during the day
where you could practice the skill. In the second column, identify appropriate
exercises needed for the day, including the specific basic skill and in the last
column write the source of the activities. Copy the format of the sample program
below and fill in the needed data. You can write your activity program in another
sheet of paper. Remember that the plan should be complete and detailed.

Now that you have knowledge in making an activity program your next task is to
create another one for the whole family. Since volleyball is a team sport, you will need other
people to learn it better. This activity will be fun because it is great opportunity to bond and
learn sport with your family. Your plan will help you reflect on your understanding on
Activity 2.
Directions: Create a new plan for your family in learning volleyball (one week), you can
make another format or copy the format in Activity 2. You must include drills in the activities
which requires 2 – 3 person. Write your plan on another sheet of paper.
