Huddle House Foods

Huddle House Foods is a 2,000 square foot restaurant and cafe located in the northern

part of Campbellsville, Kentucky. Huddle House Foods was founded in 2006 and has become the

second largest casual dining spot in Campbellsville. The business started as a bistro and

eventually grew to become an eatery where people dine in throughout the day. Huddle House

Foods started off with a small kitchen, which can only serve 10 or so people at a time, has not

been updated since their launch, so their food is very traditional. It's famous for its overnight

party – a cocktail menu that's as fun to order as the menu is to discover. A classic Midwestern

take on seasonal Italian food with fresh flavors, white plate lunches, pastas and pizza make this a

place anyone won't want to miss.

Huddle House Foods believe in good food, affordable prices and friendly service. Some

of the marketing strategy that the restaurant usually follows are building support base, building

rapport, creating a rapport that allows for the all-round greater transparency of the process. One

of the biggest challenges when building a new product for the restaurant has been building a user

community that can tolerate getting products into their hands. A new product isn't a trivial

concern. It doesn't have much to do with whether it's a profitable product, or even whether it can

survive a year.

A few years after Huddle House Foods started the restaurant, it had to face the challenge

with the emerging technologies which paved way for online ordering. The technology has

completely changed the way the restaurant industry used to function. Enabled through

technology, restaurants now a days are offering their customers a smooth seamless experience

serving them on the move. According to a survey, an online and mobile food ordering company

has revealed that going the online way has helped several restaurants to increase their takeout

revenue up to 30%. This strategy was incorporated by Huddle House Foods into their marketing

strategy to sustain with the emerging technologies and stay upfront in the locality it serves. The

online ordering is quite easy to implement and to match up with the ever-changing consumer

behavior, being digitally accessible is now a must for restaurant success and survival. Going the

online way has helped the restaurant to become a well-known brand in the locality.

Once you take the time to build your marketing strategy, you will see a great result from

it. The marketing strategy can be started as a one-time solution. Huddle House Foods has always

been up to date in adopting various marketing strategies according to changing circumstances

and market needs. Huddle House Foods has become the only one of its kind and is aggressively

distributing food in its locality. Similarly, as the school breakfast market has become more

competitive and several private sector firms have increased their market share, Huddle House

Foods has maintained its presence in the segment by offering innovative and novel food

products. Although consumers have some purchasing power and can easily choose between

competing market products, Huddle House Foods knows how to successfully manage its supply

and distribution process to remain competitive. Their detailed understanding on the market

trends, distribution and marketing strategy has helped them stay on top of the board with regards

to its locality’s restaurant businesses.
