RE: Five Year Salary Increase Scheme

Dear Madam

I am writing this recommendation letter regarding the salary scheme we can offer to
the employees in the Creative Development Department. As I compute the salary
schemes we can offer based on 1%, 5% and 10% salary percentage increase per year. I
recommend that we push through the salary scheme with 5% salary percentage
increase per year. By this salary scheme, we can give the pay raise the employees
deserve our company can afford.

This is the formula I used:


Sn=S 1 r n−1
Where:
Sn =nth year salary
S1 = current salary
r = common ratio
n = number of years
Attached here are my computations based on the said salary percentage increase per
year.

I, therefore, recommend a salary increment of 5% of their salary for the next five years
to pay for their continued dedication and excellent work.
