Design & Prototyping

The session on the module Design & Prototyping will be conducted when students
will be in the second week of their course on Experiential Learning. The broad
breakdown of the concepts taught in this module can be found in the FSD
Curriculum attached here.

Agenda Structure:

1. Focussed Teaching (70 mins)

2. Doubt Resolution (20 mins)

Detailed Agenda:

❏ Common Agenda:

- Design and prototyping as the next step after requirement gathering,

- Importance of prototyping with real life example
- What components of UPSTAC application can be part of initial prototype
design
- Technology stack used for development

❏ For Basic Learners: (Non-Technical/ Basic understanding learners)

Teaching (70
mins) 1. Understanding which technologies
are used in the development of
frontend, backend and database of
UPSTAC application
and why (20 min)
2. How the basic architecture of the
UPSTAC application should look like
(20 min)

3. User experience while using the

application (20 min)

Address any additional concerns of

the learners regarding their own tasks
+ guide them WITHOUT providing
direct solutions for the same (10 min)
Part-I1: Clear the doubts that the learners 20 - Doubt
Doubt might have (they will be asked to Resolution
Resolution come up with a list of doubts which
(15 mins)
will be made available to you
beforehand).

Don’t spend too much time on unnecessary or

vaguely-constructed doubts. Also, urge the
other students on the call to answer their
peers’ doubts to induce peer interactions.
