ORIGIN OF THE UNIVERSE

INSTRUCTIONS: The following pictures are about the views of the religion and the science on
the universe was formed. You will explain each cartoons based on what you have understand on
the topics portrayed. Each explanation will have at least 5 sentences each. Write your answer
inside the boxes below. 5 points each. Deductions will be given if: a) have below 5 sentences, b)
copied on google, and c) the main thought is not found in your answers.

In this cartoon we see a scientist observing the photo taken by the hubble
telescope. While observing it he noticed something fishy about it. From
what he saw, the picture resembles the painting ‘’the creation of adam’’
by michelangelo. From what we see in the painting we see god as the
brain(knowledge) reaching out man but man decides whether he will
acknowledges it or not. Man created its own theory called ‘’The Big Bang’’
Theory where there will be evidences, explanation, and proofs on how the

universe started. Where the theory starts from a form of explosion from
empty space.

2) As we know the big bang theory started from an

empty space where an infinitely hot dense
singularity that caused an explosion to occur in
empty space. The theory was made through
mathematical formulas, models, concepts and
instruments that allow astronomers to measure
the size of its expansion and its center. The theory
differs the bible’s concept about its beginning and
its explanation. Not only the big bang explains its
beginning from what light year did it happened but
also will reach its limit. The theory cannot be
proven but must be testable through observations
and is widely accepted.

Rick and Morty goes on through an adventure where rick will see many different versions of
his older self and insults in the line ‘’you’re one of those creeps who moves in with
abandoned adult beths’. The show represents the advancement of science technology and
how will it affect different time lines. It may also be the reason why are humans desperate
in evolving science technology in proving where it all started. A time machine is made so
people will start to travel through time to examine/observe the creation of the universe and
examine different timelines that may leave consequences. The show also presents the past,
present, future, time on how earth and other universes will look like.
