4. A synchronous class online for 3 hours will be conducted on your designated

class schedule. The rest of your requirements can be complied during the week
through asynchronous mode.

Six weeks will be devoted per course and shall cover the expected coverage of the
entire semester and that you can meet the other requirements in a

6-hour amount of work in an asynchronous mode weekly. In effect, it will come

out to be like this: 6 weeks in a semester x 9 hours/week = 54 hours in a semester.

a. Synchronous (real time interaction) – the interaction between the teacher and
students happens at the same time. Synchronous lecture (e.g. video
conferencing using google meet) is the best way to simulate a “face-to-face”
learning experience in an online classroom; and

b. Asynchronous mode (learning on-demand) – students watch video lectures,

read relevant materials, and do activities at their own pace and time. The teacher
prepares activities and resources in advance and instructs students to do a list of
tasks within a reasonable timeline.

5. For synchronous lecture or activity, you need to have a stable internet connection
with a minimum of 4 Mbps download speed and 128 kbps upload speed. Also,
devices such as laptop or cellphone (most laptops have built-in microphone, camera,
and speakers), earphones (optional), and video conference application (google meet).

6. For students with poor internet access, a record of online meeting shall be provided
to you to catch up with the lessons by participating asynchronously.

7. You shall be given a reasonable time to get materials online.

8. Please observe the following schedule for Midterm and Final Exams.

Cycle 2 November 06, 2021 November 27, 2021
