TASK 1:

When I was 8 years old, my sister and I used to fight lots for all, but we always forgave.

We had many dolls in my house. My favorite doll was a barbie with wardrobe, patterned stamps,
and clothes. My childhood was beautiful, I remember that I used to arrive at home and put on my
skates and went out to play.

Also, I travel to Mesitas with my Grandparents and I never used to collect anything, and I did not
used to play table games “parques” with my family but now I play all the time.

TASK 2:

Dear Juanita,

How are you? I had some news! I moved to a new apartment with my boyfriend, do you
remember my boyfriend? You have visit me!

My new apartment has three bedrooms and three bathrooms, gym, swimming pool. It’s amazing!

There are too many windows in the living room but there aren’t enough parking lots, I have few
neighbors.

TASK 3:

Chicken rice

1 whole chicken breast, boneless and skinless

1 spring onion

1 clove garlic

Salt and pepper

3 cups of rice

1 tablespoon tomato paste

6 cups chicken stock

1 cup of peas

1 cup diced carrots.

1 cup diced green beans.

First, place the chicken breast,3 cups of peas, 1 cup diced carrots,1 cup diced green beans in a pot
with 5 cups of water and boil with salt for 25 minutes.

Then chop onion, garlic, sausages and shred the chicken. Next in another pot, heat the oil over
medium with garlic and onion for 3 seconds and add 6 cups chicken stock or water, let it boil and
add the rice and tomato paste and stir until the rice is well coated.

After that reduce the heat to low, cover and simmer for about 20 minutes.

Finally add the peas, carrots and green beans and cook for additional 5 minutes, add the shredded
chicken, mix well with a fork.

TASK 4:

Dear Anita,

Bogota is a beautiful city; you should bring your camera and a lot of money to spend. And you
should bring party clothes and walking shoes because we are going to go to discos a lot and go up
Monserrate.

And do not forget to bring clothes for hot and cold because the weather isn’t stable.
