Do some ethnography

Instructions: In this ethnography, each one of you is tasked to interview a worker – a

daily wage earner. Preferably working in a factory, fast food chain, or any other context
in which the worker is part of the whole production process. Write a short reflection
paper on what you have learned about the life of a worker. Use the following as your
guide questions in your date gathering. Do some documentations about the activity
and send it directly to your DISS teacher through messenger. The Video will last up to 3
to 5 minutes only.

 Basics
• Name (optional) and name of company(optional)
• Type of work
• Number of hours working
• Amount of daily wage and the net amount (wage less expenses for
food, transportation, family expenses etc. ) for the particular day.
• Benefits other than the daily wage.

 Narrative
• How did he or she end up with his or her job?
• How does he or she relate to the following: the boss/owner and
fellow workers?
• Stories about his or her experience in the context of his or her work.
