Let’s talk about appearance.
- Do you look like your father or your mother?
Take after my father’s brown eyes
- What does your mot her look like?
Tall and well-built
- Does physical appearance tell anything about a person’s personality?
I’m not sure, but I think fat people are said to be/ generally easy-going/ cheerful. In
contrast, week-people are likely difficult. This is mostly based on biology.
In my opinion appearance can only tell part of a person’s characteristics because there’s
a saying “Don’t judge a book by its cover”. That is Don’t look at the appearance to
judge a person!”

Let’s talk about your free time.


- What do you enjoy doing in your free time?

- Is there some other hobby or sport you would like to try? Why?
Soccer = a team sport: fun
- How has the way people spent their free time changed over the years?
more time with their families <= they realize the importance of family time more.
Less time for family; more on social media: indoor <= lazier: surf the Internet

- Do you enjoy studying English? Why (not)?

Useful: international language; a popular means of communication;
Communicate with people around the world & deal with international documents, watch videos
- Do you think learning English is useful?

- What do you find most difficult in learning English?


The grammar rules: complicate
With persistence, you can get. “Where there’s a will, there’s a way”.

Let’s talk about clothes.


- How important are clothes and fashion to you?
Crucial: help/make us more confident: “You never have a second chance to make the first
impression.”
Clothes => characters/fashion styles: a smart person
Dress-code: formal clothes for formal/ very important occasions: wedding, job interview
Casual clothes: daily life, parties
- What kind of clothes do you like? Why?
I prefer casual clothes <= COMfortable, flexible/ practical; reasonable prices
- What kind of clothes do you dislike? Why not?
Avoid: Untidy clothes; flashy colors; stunning which make you look like a peacock.
