Our school had this program called work immersion.

It gives students
knowledge and skill to help them familiarized to the job that they will be taking in
the mere future.

There are many things you will learn in working on KIA Company
especially if your handler is a document controller or DC. Document controller is
the one who in charged and checked all the documents of the client. They are the
one who keeps all the papers and necessities. All clients’ requirements are on the
credit advice which may be given by the bank. Different banks also have different
requirements. Document controller makes sure that the requirements have three
copies for bank, for accounting and for the company. They photocopied all the
requirements, two copies for credit advice, insurance and id’s of the client then
the rest such as proof of billing, 3 personal references, CFUSCA etc. needs only one
copy for bank and for the company only. All the original copies must be given to
the bank except the original receipt. The original receipt must be on the company
and the other copy is for the accounting, no need to provide a copy for the bank.
The company needs this copy for the backup purpose, because there are times
that the banks returned all the requirements because it has missing files or
documents deficiency. Transmittal slip, creating this slip is too easy. You just need
to indicate all the requirements along with the PNCM for the banks to easily know
what’s inside the envelope. After that it will transmit it to the sister-company of
KIA which is the Nissan in which the rider will give it to the distinct banks.

The segregation of the invoice and insurance are also the job of the DC.
There are 3 invoices that have different color; pink, blue and green. The pink
invoice is for the bank, the green invoice for the company and the blue one is for
the accounting. For the segregation of insurance, it has three addressees to be
given. Different addressee has different content of the insurance. Insurance has
two types the TPL has three years expiration while for the Comprehensive it only
have a year. For the banks it has certificate and Comprehensive. For clients it has
TPL and Comprehensive together with the COC. And for the insurance agent or DC
it has Comprehensive and TPL. After the segregation you need to put it inside the
policy jacket. The policy jacket has two kinds the private and commercial vehicle.
The policy jacket depends on the unit of the car bought by the client.
The next one is the job of Finance Coordinator and Sales Manager. Finance
coordinator was the one who negotiate in the bank, creating the PNCM
(Promissory Note in Chattel Mortgage) and encoding the analytics. Though
finance coordinator is not my trainer she thought me on how to do the analytics.
Analytics is the online encoding of the character reference of the clients. On the
other hand Sales manager was the one handling the money, creating the invoice,
CSR, dealer pro and giving the plate of the customers. Sales manager taught me
the proper received process in giving the plate. She gave me a task in scheduling
the clients for the receiving of their plate.

In my work immersion day, I’ve learned so many things, such as


segregation of insurance, invoice, creating waiver affidavit, transmittal, analytics,
and notary and giving a plate on the client. I also learned on how to photocopy
and scan. Also learned the important thing, KIA Company is not just a company
but a home. They treated each other like real member of their family.
