All Mobile Cranes shall be subject to the following inspection before being used on site. The appropriate
CODE (IR or P) shall be placed against each inspected item.

IR – IMMEDIATE Repair or Rectification P – Pass

2. Copy of the last verification / maintenance
3. Operation and safety manual in operator’s language
4. Pre-start inspection book
CONDITION (MANDATORY)
5. Cabin seat is adjustable, shock absorber and damping vibration with head rest
6. Air conditioning/heating operating satisfactory
7. Windscreen free of cracks
8. External rear-view mirrors
9. Front & rear lights, horn and indicators work
10. Reverse and gear light work
11. Vehicle brakes, handbrake and park brake work properly
12. All gauges and switches function as required
13. Fuel/water/hydraulic/oil leaks
14. Powder ABC extinguisher (Valid ___/___/____)
15. 3-point seat belts operate correctly (extend, retract, lock and clip into place)
16. Access steps/handrails/grips (3 point contact can be maintained)
17. E-Stop button, lockable isolation point, protection against accidental activation
18. Load Limiting Device fitted and operational (must not be in override position)
19. Load Chart fixed in the operators cabin (English and/or Arabic)
20. Load Indicator fitted and operational (e.g. Christmas tree or audible alarms)

28. Tyres / tracks in good condition (adequately inflated, sufficient tread)
29. Modifications made or attachments fitted? Is so, evidence of Change

SLINGS, SHACKLES, RINGS, HOOKS, CHAINS, BELTS, JIGS AND CLAMPS


30. Visual indication of maximum load permitted for the work
