-We all know media plays a role in our lives. I would say media is important to gather
information about what’s taking place in our local and global community. Social media in
particular is an effective way to stay up to date with friends and family. Social media platforms,
such as Instagram and Facebook, can be a great way to stay connected with people who may
not be physically close to you. In this aspect, it plays a very important role, especially in the lives
of students and young adults.

Activity 2: The Low-tech Future You are living in the 21st Century, where people are dependent
on technology. Imagine waking up one day to find no Internet, libraries, and cell phones.
Newspapers, magazines, radio stations and TV channels have also disappeared. Answer the

- I will ask people around me and find information on what happens in our country in the way I
