To ensure that this moving and handling task is assessed correctly and graduated, a list of
moving and handling questions ( MHQS ) have been designed :
1. Moving and handling questions ( MHQS ) what is normal movement for the task ?
Answer :
Normal movement is defined as the most efficient and economical movement or
performance of a given task and is specific to the individual. So in the health of moving or
teaching a patient to move about, sach as moving his motor nerve. Example, if patients
who stay. In bed such as stroke patients feed the movement. If the patients wakes up then
give him muscle mobility movement. If a nurse is over injured, with injuries and back
pain, a nurse must rest.

2. Can I teach the patient to do this unaided ? If yes, how would this be archieved : verbal /
nonverbal, demonstration written ? If no, move to Q3
Answer : I can`t teach patients if there`s no help

3. If no completely unaided, is there equipment available that would mean the patient could
do this for him herselfm. For example Jacob's ladder, bed lever, bed/handling blocks,
slide sheets, profiling bed and so on? If yes, how would this be archieved? If no, move to
Q4
Answer :
I need the help of others to explain to patients who have both severe and mild
illnesses such as : severe physical mobility disorders and mild injuries.

4. If unable to perform the task themselves, what is the minimum of assistance on and then
two people can give (a) without equipment and (b) with equipment?
Answer:
 a. Without the thetoots to teach the patient
= it’s about exercising the muscle mobilization movement. Example: patients who

2) Do it slowly and don't push the patients if it over moves.
3) Picked communications must be applied to nurses for patients and the families.
4) All toots and AIDS used with soft materials do not injure the patient like hands.
For example, a bed's edge should be dull of sharp so ajnot to injure the patient.
