Definition:
Ceramic:
A ceramic is a material that is neither metallic nor organic. It may be crystalline,
glassy or both crystalline and glassy. Ceramics are typically hard and chemically
non-reactive and can be formed or densified with heat. Ceramics are more than
pottery and dishes: clay, bricks, tiles, glass, and cement are probably the best-
known examples.
Conductor:
an employee on a bus, train, or other public conveyance, who is in charge of the
conveyance and its passengers, collects fares or tickets, etc.
other definition of conductor:
An electrical conductor is a substance in which electrical charge carriers, usually
electrons, move easily from atom to atom with the application of voltage.
Conductivity, in general, is the capacity to transmit something, such as electricity
or heat.
Steel:
a strong metal that is a mixture of iron and carbon, used for making things that
need a strong structure, especially vehicles and buildings.
Stainless steel:
an alloy of steel with chromium and sometimes another element (such as nickel or
molybdenum) that is practically immune to rusting and ordinary corrosion.
Screw driver:
a tool for turning screws
screw:
a nail-shaped or rod-shaped piece with a spiral groove and a slotted or recessed
head designed to be inserted into material by rotating (as with a screwdriver) and
used for fastening pieces of solid material together.
Cooling tower:
a structure over which circulated water is trickled to reduce its temperature by
partial evaporation.
Pump:
a device that raises, transfers, delivers, or compresses fluids or that attenuates gases
especially by suction or pressure or both.
Vacuum cleaner:
a household appliance for cleaning floors, carpets, upholstery, etc.
Thermostat:
an automatic device for regulating temperature (as by controlling the supply of gas
or electricity to a heating apparatus.
Battery:
Also called galvanic battery, voltaic battery. Electricity. a combination of two or
more cells electrically connected to work together to produce electric energy.
Converter:
a device employing mechanical rotation for changing electrical energy from one
form to another (as from direct current to alternating current or vice versa)
Dielectric materials:
Dielectric, insulating material or a very poor conductor of electric current. When
dielectrics are placed in an electric field, practically no current flows in them
because, unlike metals, they have no loosely bound, or free, electrons that may
drift through the material. Instead, electric polarization occurs.
Relay:
an electromagnetic device for remote or automatic control that is actuated by
variation in conditions of an electric circuit and that operates in turn other devices
(such as switches) in the same or a different circuit.
Electromagnet:
a core of magnetic material (such as iron) surrounded by a coil of wire through
which an electric current is passed to magnetize the core.
Barometer:
an instrument for determining the pressure of the atmosphere and hence for
assisting in forecasting weather and for determining altitude.
Galvanometer:
an instrument for detecting or measuring a small electric current by movements of
a magnetic needle or of a coil in a magnetic field.
Thermometer:
an instrument for determining temperature.
Router:
a machine with a revolving vertical spindle and cutter for milling out the surface of
wood or metal.
Broadcast:
to send out a programme on television or radio.
Byte:
a unit of computer information or data-storage capacity that consists of a group of
eight bits and that is used specially to represent an alphanumeric character.
Connectivity:
the ability to connect to or communicate with another computer or computer
system.
CPU:
the component of a computer system that performs the basic operations (such as
processing data) of the system, that exchanges data with the system's memory or
peripherals, and that manages the system's other components.
Computer:
an electronic machine that can store and work with large amounts of information.

Token:
a piece resembling a coin issued as money by some person or body other than a de
jure government.
Time-Out:
a brief suspension of activity: BREAK
especially: a suspension of play in an athletic game.
ICTs or TICs:
information and communication technology: the use of computers and other
electronic equipment and systems to collect, store, use, and send data
electronically.
Ethernet:
a computer network architecture consisting of various specified local-area network
protocols, devices, and connection methods.
Script:
something written or the written text of a stage play, screenplay, or broadcast
specifically: the one used in production or performance.
Wireless:
operating by means of transmitted electromagnetic waves.
having no wire or wires.
Ram:
a computer memory on which data can be both read and written and on which the
location of data does not affect the speed of its retrieval.
Pin:
a piece of solid material (such as wood or metal) used especially for fastening
things together or as a support by which one thing may be suspended from another.

Ping:
a signal sent from one computer to another across a network for usually diagnostic
purposes (as to determine network speed or the status of the target computer).

IP:
is a unique address that identifies a device on the internet or a local network? IP
stands for "Internet Protocol," which is the set of rules governing the format of data
sent via the internet or local network.
