Answer the following questions in 150 words or more.

A. Which primary goal of the health system do you think should be the priority in the
Philippines? Why?
The primary goal that a health system should prioritize should be improving the
health of populations because it is the utmost priority of every health worker,
health professionals, and especially of health systems. Populations should be
protected from any existing and emerging health risks and in order for that to
happen, health should come first. Preparations related to unknown but impending
health risks should be implemented and executed. Health systems should not
prioritize someone over someone albeit they have different socio-economic status
and strive to improve the health of everyone

B. Do you think that the directions of the Philippine Health Sector are on the right track? Do
you have any other recommendations?
The directions of the Philippines Health Sector are on the right track but if I had to add a
recommendation, it would be to make all medicines and health services to be free-of-
charge to those that are at the bottom structure of the caste as of now. It would be
wonderful if everyone including those of the poverty especially of the lower bracket to
have the freedom to access health services and medicines without having to worry about
their finance
