About us
Salasar came into existence with the goal of serving
India’s dynamic infrastructural needs. It took the company
just 10 years to distinguish itself as the leading provider
of steel and infrastructure solutions to a variety of
industries, with operations spanning the globe. We are
infrastructure enablers for a variety of needs such as
Telecommunications, Railways, Renewable Energy, Smart
cities, Roadway & Railway Over-bridges and Power
Transmission.
We defy limits when it comes to work and engineering.

Alok Kumar
Chairman & MD
With experience spanning over 4 decades
in trading, manufacturing and fabrication of
iron & steel, Alok Kumar is a man with strong
principles and progressive ideologies. He
started his career with trading in iron & steel
as Managing Partner in Gupta Traders and
thereafter from 1959 operated two foundry
units of C.I. Casting namely Capital Founders
and Capital Udyog. He leads the
organization with a firm hand.
Shashank Agarwal
Managing Director
A man with a diverse range of experiences
spanning 25+ years, Shashank Agarwal is a
true entrepreneur. He has built Salasar from
scratch with the help of the other directors.
With his strong resolve and sharp marketing
acumen, he makes sure all of Salasar’s
stakeholders get the returns they deserve.
He was the driving force behind the
company’s IPO in 2017.

Promoter and Director
Shalabh has a professional experience of
20+ years and is at the forefront of all the
innovation that takes place at Salasar - be it
technological or procedural. Alongside that,
he manages the company’s day-to-day
affairs and looks after Salasar’s volatile
power vertical.
Tripti Gupta
Promoter and Director
With experience spanning over a decade in
strategic management, policy-making,
business development, and various other
corporate matters; Tripti Gupta has been a
pillar of strength for the company ever since
she joined Salasar in the year 2014. An
MBA in Finance and Marketing, she has
demonstrated excellent decision-making
skills time and again.

A fellow member of the Institute of
Chartered Accountants of India, Sanjay
Chandak has an experience of almost
three decades in the field of Chartered
Accountancy and has headed various
conventions across the country. He is an
expert in Tax Planning, Income Tax, and
Statutory Audits, and presently advises the
board on all related matters.

Non-Executive and Independent Director
With a vast experience of working in
different capacities at leading companies
across India and the world for more than 5
decades, Vijay Kumar Jain lends his expert
opinion at Salasar. Vijay has demonstrated
proficiency in leading organisations
towards success.
Anil Kumar Jain
Non-Executive and Independent Director
A renowned Chartered Accountant with a
rich experience of more than 30 years, Anil
Kumar Jain has been continuously guiding
Salasar towards progress. Apart from
being an exceptional Chartered
Accountant, he is also a social activist and a
true humanitarian.
Mukesh Kumar Garg
Non-Executive and Independent Director
An ex-CAO of North Central Railway,
Mukesh Garg uses his experience of
planning, executing and managing costs of
tenders worth several hundred crores to
advise the company. He also has immense
experience on contesting arbitration cases.

Salasar has had a long-standing technical tie-up
with Ramboll, Denmark – A world leader in
designing and engineering telecom towers &
high masts. They have been designing tower for
the past 6 decades and the designs have
endured the passage of time and have proven
their performance. Their blueprints help us
manufacture towers that are lighter and cost
20% less than traditional angular towers while
maintaining and exceeding structural integrity.

Our Cell On Wheels (COWs) are versatile
products useful in a range of situations. They
provide essential cell access for times of
need like a crisis situation, or for event-
based demands, like a concert. These COWs
can be mounted on trucks, vans or trailers
and drastically expand network connectivity.
The applications of COWs are numerous,
typically used as temporary installations, we
can also install these as permanent
structures. These COWs don’t require a
foundation and need only grounding and

Important Factors
The government has increased allocation of funds to infrastructure sector in the union
budget. Key increments from the last years budget for our industry are:
• Compensation to Service Providers for creation and augmentation of telecom
infrastructure increased from ₹ 8000 Cr to ₹ 9000 Cr
• Funds allocated to Ministry of railways for CAPEX utilization increased to an
unprecedented ₹ 1.07 Lakh Cr from ₹ 70,000 Cr
• The Chennai and Bengaluru Metro Projects have been cumulatively
allocated ₹ 78,034 Cr
With 5G on the horizon, there is an increasing trend of expenditure from Telecom
