Leadership team
Mr. Aniruddha Lahiri – Founder Chairman (B.Tech, IIT)
Mr. Lahiri is an ex-Unilever senior executive; He held various board positions which included responsibilities for
businesses as well as corporate functions. He seconded to Unilever’s Head Quarters with worldwide responsibility for
Manufacturing and Supply Chain Technology. In 2006 he joined the diversified multinational New York-based The
Chatterjee Group (TCG) as the President of the Group and also served as the CEO of the TCG Group’s IT platform till
2014. He has overseen growth and turnaround strategies for multiple early stage businesses in the IT and ITES sectors.
He is the past President of the Bengal Chamber of Commerce & Industry and the Calcutta Management Association.
While at TCG he was the Chairman of the American Chamber of Commerce, Kolkata Chapter and the Vice Chairman of
the National Executive Board, AMCHAM India.

Mr. Saibal Biswas - CA

Saibal Biswas is a qualified Cost Accountant with close to 30 years of experience in the field of Banking and Finance.
He started his professional career with HSBC and held leadership positions in NRI, Premier Banking, and Private
Banking Services. He moved to ABN Amro as Head of one of the Investment Advisory Business clusters dedicated
towards advising HNI clients. Saibal established his independent Investment Advisory business in 2005 which he
continues to run successfully. The objective of his company is to provide qualitative and quantitative investment
advice to clients to help them meet their life goals.
Saibal’s company has received various prestigious awards and he is a regular columnist with a leading publishing
house and has featured in programmes on personal finance for major media channels. Saibal is often also invited as
Speaker by Business Chambers and Corporate Houses.
He is passionate about Cinema and is a keen traveller and a wildlife enthusiast

Mr. Anirban Lahiri - Director (B.S. Ops. Research, Columbia University, New York & MBA from London
Business School)
Anirban has 12 years of professional experience spanning investing banking, strategy consulting, private equity as well
as new venture development. He has lived, worked and studied in the US, India, The Netherlands and Vietnam. He is
currently based in Vietnam and oversees TES’ international business development initiatives in the South East Asia
region. Anirban started his career as an investment banker in the New York offices of UBS before moving on to roles
with other large multinational firms such as PwC and BankInvest Group. He has a keen interest in frontier and
emerging markets with a particular focus on Asia.
Anirban holds a Bachelor of Science in Operations Research from Columbia University, New York and an MBA from
London Business School in the U.K.

Mr. Ujjal Bhattacharya - Senior Vice President, Engineering

Mr. Bhattacharya is a highly experienced & technically competent Mechanical Engineer from Birla Institute of
Technology, Ranchi, with a career spanning over 35 years.
Prior to joining TES, he has worked at senior leadership positions with companies like BTL EPC LTD Kolkata, Tata
Consulting Engineers, providing engineering consultancy services for projects and equipment for Basic Industries - Iron
and Steel, Coke Oven Plant for Coal and Coke Handling System, Thermal Power Plant, Coke Oven, Sinter Plant, DRI/HBI
Plant, Bulk Material Handling Systems including Minerals beneficiations.
Towards the beginning of his career, Mr. Bhattacharya had worked in Govt. Sector – Hindustan Copper Ltd,
Khetrinagar (Rajasthan) and Tata Robins Fraser Ltd (a div. of Tata Steel) as Deputy Chief Design Engineer
