M1) General Notes
Package Equipment Data Sheet - Instructions to Vendor:

Vendor shall fully complete the Package Equipment Data Sheet - "Supplier Data" column in native electronic file format and return as part of the Vendor's quotation.
To assist the Vendor, some preliminary data has been shown in the "Requirements" column and in the Equipment Specific Notes below. It is the Vendor's responsibility to

M1.2) For Site, Climatic, Electric Power and Utilities Data refer to Process Design Basis Overall, Doc. No. 077154C-000-CN-0007-001
M1.3) Package shall comply with the requirements of the local regulations and standards, including, National and Local Rules, Regulations, Standards and Statutory requirements.
M1.4) Package shall comply with Health, Safety, Security and Environmental instructions to Vendors and Subcontractors
M2) Specific Notes:

Material certification shall meet the requirements of General Notes for Requisitions, Doc no.077154C-27368587-1807-PKG-MR-015 and other project specifications referred in
M2.1) material requistion.
M2.2) The crane is to be installed in Compressors shelter -1
M2.3) Adequate protection is to be given to paint finish during all transportation activities.
M2.4) Runway rails shall be provided with crane stops (spring/rubber buffers) and double limit switches at both the ends of runway.
M2.5) Main Isolator to be supplied and shall be located 1.0 to 1.5 m above finished floor level on one of the columns. Column location shall be finalised after award of contract.
M2.6) Cabling upto main isolator switch shall be supplied by VENDOR.
M2.7) Crane shall be provided with integrated control panel.
M2.8)
M2.9) Bridge and trolley wheels shall be double flanged, bronze alloy construction.
M2.10) Access ladder from floor to runway beam shall be provided by others (on one side only). Location of the same shall be provided during post order stage.
M2.11) Ladder shall be provided on the carriage edge to access the crane top from the runway platform by VENDOR.
M2.12) Platform shall be provided on drive side and localised platform shall be provided on non drive side of the girder.
M2.13) The longitudinal drive travel (LT) system provided at each end of the bridge beam shall be synchronised to one another to prevent crabbing during travel motions.
M2.14) The ratio of the effective length of the compression flange of the girder to the breadth of flange of the girder shall not exceed 60.
