1. Purpose of the speech can help achieve clarity and proper understanding by expressing the
objective and well-presented ideas of the speech or presentation.

2. The topic is the main idea of your speech, and looking for a topic that you are interested about
can help select a topic quickly

3. Data gathering is the part where one gathers relevant or related ideas, facts, information, and
references to your topic, and you should get a background research on your topic.

4. The body of a speech is the section of the speech that discusses your presentation’s primary
topic of interest. Where delivering your message and explaining your speech is main point.

5. Narrowing down a topic - will enable you to better determine the specific direction of your
paper and the research you will conduct on your topic.

6. A writing pattern is a specific way of organizing ideas to convey a certain type of topic.

outline include an introduction, a body, and a conclusion. In writing an outline, it should depend
on how you want your ideas to develop.
