ASSESSMENT TASK

ACTIVITY 1

The painting of Edward Munch entitled “The Scream” is associated with modern life experiences. the
painting, the foremost figure seen is a barely human which display an anguish look. Upon seeing the
painting for the first time, my mind is debating from the thought that, How this painting become
famous? And how this become known? Because this painting is like a child’s making ,this is nothing
compared to Da Vinci’s painting. Though, looking thoroughly to the painting, I sense that there’s a deep
meaning behind it. From the looks of the art, you can see the different styles used, color and vibrant.
The artist’s active and dynamic use of curving lines and strong color gives intense energy to the painting.
The barely human in the painting, upon looking to the face, you can tell that he/she is suffering from
mental pain, grief or anguish in what he has seen or experienced in the world he has gone through.

ACTIVITY 3

Art has a significant impact on our life. Art has existed since the beginning of time and will continue to
exist till the day we are born. There's a saying that "Nature is the Art of God" it is not really an art because
art is man-made, though it is considered a natural art.

Art is a form of expression. It serves as a link between people and the rest of the globe. Tradition, culture,
liberty, unity, and solidarity are all represented by it. We can convey our sentiments, emotions, and
thoughts through art. It could be done through dancing, music, or art, for example. Playing an instrument
is one way for some people to express their emotions.

Art has an impact everywhere, whether we recognize it or not, on a daily level. The art around us may
have a big influence on our mood and emotions, whether it be a painting, music or even films. Certainly
some art is really gloomy and can produce unsettling feelings, wrath or even melancholy, but we can
decide what sort of art we want at home to surround you. All sorts of art can have a great impact on our
attitude, making us joyful, calmer or even motivated.
