Reflection #1 Assumptions of art

As I learn more about art, I’ve noticed some changes in how I see it. At first, I thought
art had to be something that everyone could easily understand. But now, I see that it’s
okay for art to be a bit mysterious and mean different things to different people.

First, Art is Universal. I’ve come to believe that art is undeniably universal. It transcends
language and cultural barriers, speaking directly to our shared human experiences and
emotions. Whether it’s a painting, a melody, or a dance.

Art is not a nature, yes art is not a nature because, nature is all the stuff in the world that
isn't made by people. It's everything around us, like trees, mountains, and animals. But
art is different. Art is things that people make on purpose, like paintings, music, or
sculptures.

Art is cultural, culture means the stuff that a group of people believes and does. Art is
like the special things those people make to show their culture. It's a way for them to tell
stories, show their history, and share what they think is beautiful. So, art is a bit like a
window into different cultures, helping us understand and appreciate them.

Art is an expression of the mind, Art, to me, is like a window into someone's thoughts
and feelings. When I create art or look at someone else's work, it feels like I'm peeking
into their mind. It's as if they're sharing their inner world with me through colors, shapes,
and forms.

Art is a form of creativity, When I think of art, I see a world of endless possibilities born
from our inventive minds. To me, it's a universal language that goes beyond words,
letting us express and stir up emotions, concepts, and tales using only the canvas of our
imagination. In my view, art is like the rhythmic heartbeat of human creativity, brimming
with the splendor and variety of our thoughts and visions.

In conclusion, assumptions about art can be like foggy windows that obscure its true
essence. To appreciate art fully, we must wipe away these preconceived notions,
replacing them with curiosity and open-minded exploration.
