1. Manila-centrism is still a blinding fact that most of us tolerate. Write instances that
Manila centrism is present in the following fields:
a. Sports
b. Entertainment
c. Literature
d. Politics

B. Activity 2- Concept Webbing


1. Imagine yourself as one of the NCCA members and you are to amend the guidelines in
the selection of the National Artist for Literature.
2. Craft a list of criteria to fairly select the next national artists and to eliminate the idea of
Manila-centrism. You can post it online or just write it on your paper. This must be
submitted next week and must be included in your portfolio.
