II- ESSAY.

1. How does the article encourage you in pursuing your career in accounting?
- It encourages me to pursue my career in accounting through applying the basics
such as an “open book management” it has the power to make decisions which would help me in
running a business. And business requires team work and moving forward collectively.

2. Do you believe that teaching employees basic accounting could help a business grow?
-Yes of course, In business we need to teach our employees on the basic
accounting because there are some situations in business engaging computations. For example,
you have a cashier employee so you have to teach the employee on the basic method on manage
cashiering. And so therefore I believe that basic accounting is always present in any areas of
business. Thus, it helps a business to grow.

3. Given you are operating your own business; will you apply an “open-book
management”?
-Yes, I will, it helps your employees think like business owners from the bottom
line. Open book is not just about your business being opened up, it's about responsibility,
ownership, results and growth; all these things can come together to make your company
needle forward. All levels of your firm start to act and engage just as the owner or
leadership with proper training and knowledge. Furthermore, the power of open-book
management is that financial transparency and ownership helps your employees not only
do their jobs more effectively, but it helps them understand how the company is doing as
a whole.
