THE PROBLEM AND ITS SCOPE

Rationale of the Study

Educational process has many purposes. It is not only to help an

individual be intellectually equipped but also to bring understanding of

themselves and reach their goals in life. Guidance center is built for its

clients, the students, parents, and faculty, to have a lead in self-

understanding, self-development, and self- awareness through the

different programs and services that the organization offered. These

programs and services will bring out the clienteles’ decision making

and learning strategies, leadership abilities, positive stress-coping

mechanism, intrapersonal relationship, and other undiscovered

potentials that guidance center can make it out of their shells.

Every person needs guidance. Parents, friends, significant

colleagues, and God’s word will serve as an instrument to guide each

one of us. In schools and universities, a particular office that serves as

guide to their clientele is being implemented. This office, termed as

the guidance center, offers many services that will help students cope

with their daily stressful life.

College students are exposed to a lot of stressors. Sometimes,

there is a will to escape from all of those problems and troubles that
