LISTENING UNIT 1- CRIME

INSTRUCTIONS:

- Listen to the audios named as “TRACK 01, TRACK 02 & TRACK 03” that you will find
in a file (folder) in the resources section. (follow the order of the tracks 1,2,3).

- After you have listened to all the audios, answer the following questions.

Track 01
1. What important date is the couple celebrating?
 They are celebrating their anniversary
2. Who is Kathy?

Track 02
3. What do you think broke at the beginning of the track?
 A flower vase
4. Why is the woman calling the police?
 Because her husband suffered an attack from someone

Track 03
5. Who is the first person to arrive at the woman´s house?
 A detective
6. What is the husband´s condition?
 Is death
7. What does the woman say she was doing before she found her husband?
 She is putting the baby in the bed, and came down and see her husband dead
8. Where is the husband´s body?
 In the kitchen floor
9. What is the detective going to look for?
 He is going to register the house to looking the weapon
 10. What do think really happened to the husband? Why?
 I think she kill her husband, cause in the first seconds of the track, sounds a heeled
shoes approximated him, and after a hit and husband fall to the floor. After sounds
like his wife traying to do another voice to sound scared.
