Answers: Cultural identity refers to a person's sense of belonging to a particular culture or group. This
process involves learning about and accepting traditions, heritage, language, religion and the constituting
communities within their cultural groups.

Q2. How does history affect culture or vice versa? Write your answer on the space provided below.

Answers: Because it brings to life a past time and place. Cultural historians study beliefs and ideas, much
as intellectual historians do. These are reflected in the products of deliberately artistic culture, but also
include the objects and experiences of everyday life, such as clothing or cuisine.

Q3. State your thought regarding this statement “the person grows with culture; culture likewise grows with
him”. Write your answer on the space provided below.

Answers: In this statement, it means that if we grow in our culture wherever we came from, the culture we
adapt from our community will be always our sign that we different cultures, traditions and beliefs, And also
by that we can show our culture to others or whatever we go. Just an example of fiesta’s in our barangay,
it’s one of the culture that up to now we celebrated it.

CULTURE is the customary beliefs, social forms and material traits of a racial, religious or social group.
And so when we say culture it is a group of people in one's society or in place or time. One of the
examples, Christmas trees can be considered ceremonial or cultural objects.

Culture is considered an adaptive mechanism because it provides behavior patterns, strategies, and
techniques aimed at helping people adapt in a particular environment. . While plants and animals adapt to
their environment genetically, for humans the most important adaptive mechanism is culture.

Our culture greatly contributes to the development of our beliefs and values. For this reason, both cultural
psychologists and social anthropologists believe that culture affects one's personality. In addition, gender
differences also influence the personality traits a person possesses.

Culture can be defined as all the ways of life including arts, beliefs and institutions of a population that is
passed down from generation to generation. Culture has been called "the way of life for an entire society."
As such, it includes codes of manners, dress, language, religion, rituals, art.

2. How does culture affect the modern society?

Culture enables us to understand and communicate to each other, because we have our own language and
gestures or body language. Culture helps us learn people around us, their behavior and customs, and
because of this all of us understands and go about together even though we are a total stranger to each
other. In Addition our culture binds us together, because we are of the same race and we share similar
environment.

3. If you’re going to publish your editorial or slogan about culture? How will you present it? Who will be your
audience?

If I am going to publish my editorial or slogan about culture, it must be like this “Without culture ,and the
relative freedom it implies ,society ,even when perfect ,but a jungle .This is why any authentic creation is a
gift to the future “. And I am presenting it, through social media like in Facebook, YouTube or Instagram by
posting it, or I am going to create a page so that everybody will see it and like what I am trying to
emphasizing . And on what knowledge, values that they would get through this campaign.
