UNIT PLAN FOR GRADE 6 LEARNERS

I. OBJECTIVES
At the end of the lesson, the students should be able to:

 consider one’s and other’s safety when sharing information


using the Internet;
 determine and avoid the dangers of the Internet; and
 be responsible in the use of social networking sites.

II. CONTENT

RULES OF NETIQUETTE: ONLINE SAFETY, SECURITY, ETHICS AND ETIQUETTE

Performance Standard: The learners shall be able to independently compose an


insightful reflection paper on the nature of ICT in the context of their lives, society, and
professional tracks (TechVoc)

Learning Competency: The learners apply online safety, security, ethics, and etiquette
standards and practice in the use of ICTs as it would relate to their specific professional
tracks.

A. Before the lesson (5 minutes)

 Let the students read the previous objectives.
 Ask the students about the previous lesson on ICT.

1. Activity (10 minutes)
 How Safe Are You?
Guide Questions:
a. How many checks did you have for shared?

2. Analysis (10 minutes)


The students will answer the following questions:
a. How many hours do you spend on the Internet per day?
b. Can you leave without Internet for a week?
c. How many aspects of your life depend on the Internet?
3. Abstraction (25 minutes)
Discussion on the RULES OF NITIQUETTE: ONLINE SAFETY and
SECURITY

4. Application (10 minutes)


Individually create a campaign materials promoting “Think Before You
Click”

Cyber News Report


Together with your group, research for several news and events
related to cybercrime. Using your cellphone or any video-recording
device, report it as if you were a newscaster. Present in 1-2 minutes
recording.

Qualitative Research because the researcher wants to identify the reason what is the
problem of the family member needed to be addressed in an urban area. The
researcher wanted to verify if the problem committed is related to family relationship, to
verify if it is because of the lack of communication or affection in the family. This study
wanted to examine how parenting factors were associated with adolescent problem
behaviors among out-of-school youth in an urban area. Members of the group involve in
serious chronic offending were more likely to have families characterized by multiple
problems including disruption, conflict, and lack of parental involvement. Sometimes so
extreme as to meet the legal requirement of neglect.
