Women leaders are not new to leadership, think of Cleopatra or Queen
Elizabeth. Think of the women who led the civil rights and education reform movements. But women are still outnumbered by men in the most prestigious positions. Some of these barriers include discrimination, implicit bias, lack of mentoring, and exclusion from social and informational networks. Descriptive- correlational research study was conducted to determine the assessment given by the senior citizens to their respective women community leaders. Next is to emphasize equality, respect, and care for all individuals especially women. Lastly, is to appreciate how women’s leadership can change a community into a better one. This study found out that they are satisfied with the women leaders leadership regardless of their differences, they still manage to live in unity. The conclusion was drawn based on the result that the most of the seniors agree with the positive statement that the researchers provided in assessing their women leaders. This suggested that the teachers should visualize as to how women should be taken care of especially their learners and that each of them is unique in their way. Exploring the Journeys of Female Community Leaders at North Central Mindanao College hoped to be done successfully so that students should appreciate the importance of leadership and the value their self-worth.
