FIELD STUDY 101

Field Study 1 (OBSERVATIONS OF TEACHING-LEARNING IN ACTUAL

SCHOOL ENVIRONMENT) is the first experiential course which will

immerse you in actual classroom setting where direct observation of

teaching-learning episodes that you learned in the classroom will be made.

You are supposed to observe in the actual setting, analyze the observed data

and experiences, as well as reflect on these experiences. While doing the

task, you sharpen your sensitivity, observation skills and critical and

reflective thinking, and creativity.

OBSERVATION is the core of FS1.Observation experiences will make

you aware of teaching attitudes, beliefs and, classroom practices that are

effective in teaching and learning. Nevertheless, you cannot really observe

the real classroom situation due to this pandemic where there are no face to

face classes being conducted.

There are three major objects of observation:

1. Environment

2. Learners

3. Teachers
