LET US KNOW
Knowing different types of sentences is important as
it will help us in using some appropriate phrases to
deliver a clear message with the right tone.
This lesson may help you understand and learn the use
of different kinds of sentences in a dialogue. It also
contains activities that will help you use the different types
of sentences.

LET US REMEMBER
There are types of sentences that we can use in
dialogues. A declarative sentence tells about something
and ends with a period. An interrogative sentence asks for
something and ends with a question mark. An exclamatory
sentence shows strong feelings and ends with an
exclamation point and an imperative sentence tells
someone to do something and ends with a period.
